Peter is a passionate travel enthusiast who loves meeting new people and sharing the beauty of New Zealand with travellers from around the world. With over a decade of experience in the travel industry, he has travelled extensively – visiting more than 50 countries and 150 cities combined – gaining a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a genuine understanding of what makes travel truly memorable.
New Zealand is his forever home now, and he brings his global perspective and extensive experience to Waiheke & Beyond Tours. Through his work, he is dedicated to helping travellers discover the island’s coastal charm, world-class vineyards, and the natural beauty that captures the essence of both Waiheke Island and New Zealand as a whole.

Gabrielle Johnson is a true Kiwi adventurer. Raised in Northland on her family’s kiwifruit orchard, she grew up immersed in the outdoors – sailing in the Bay of Islands and horse riding from a young age.
She is currently based in Auckland, where she has transitioned from a career in software and technology to focus on the pursuits she is genuinely passionate about. Gabrielle contributes to conservation efforts across the region, volunteering on Motuihe Island in the Hauraki Gulf, O’Neills Bay on Auckland’s west coast, and with Project Tongariro in the Central Plateau. During winter, she works as a ski instructor at the Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields on Mt Ruapehu.
With extensive hospitality experience and strong knowledge of Waiheke Island, Gabrielle is a valued member of the Auckland & Beyond Tours team. A lifelong sailor, she has also completed a 1,200-nautical-mile blue-water passage between Fiji and New Zealand.
Beyond work, Gabrielle’s life continues to revolve around the outdoors – competing in yacht races with the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, hiking, mountain biking, and wing foiling whenever she can.
