Discover Waiheke

Just 40 minutes by ferry from Auckland, Waiheke Island blends sun-soaked beaches, vineyard-draped hills and laid-back coastal villages. Adventure options include ziplining, coastal hikes on the Te Ara Hura trail, e-biking, kayaking and paddleboarding. Prefer to take it slow? Settle into cellar-door tastings and long vineyard lunches, browse Oneroa’s boutiques and galleries, wander olive groves and sculpture trails, or simply relax on Onetangi and Oneroa beaches.

What’s included in a Waiheke tour?

Comfortable island transport, a friendly local guide, guided tastings at boutique wineries, and time for scenic photo stops. Some tours offer a vineyard lunch option—check your chosen tour’s inclusions.

We work with a selection of boutique cellar doors on Waiheke. The lineup can change based on availability and season, and we’ll confirm your final itinerary in the lead-up to your date.

Choose a “with lunch” tour if you’d like a pre-booked vineyard lunch. Most partners can cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free—just add your requirements at checkout (ideally 48 hours’ notice).

Yes. Ask for our views & villages variant (less wine focus, more lookouts, beaches and olive groves). Under-18s are welcome where licensed—please bring photo ID for tastings.

Tours run rain or shine; if conditions are unsafe we may adjust timings or venues. See your confirmation email for the full cancellation window and change policy, or contact us and we’ll help.
